The dark side birthday cake

This 100% vegan birthday cake was a real hit!

Topped with fresh strawberries and vegan icing made with *Nuttelex buttery spread, which I call nuttercream. I bought Oreos, and cut them in half to decorate. This sweet treat cake made it difficult for Darth Vader to see the dark side!

I hand drew and cut out the 2d fondant storm troopers and Darth Vader. For the Storm troopers I used *Over the Top black edible pens to create the detail, and Darth Vader I painted on the detail with white food colouring. The cake is covered with fondant in the birthday girls favourite colour, red. I covered the cake board in foil to give it a space feel.

The cake is four layered vegan sponge with fresh strawberries and buttercream. The candles are red and pink sparklers.
