Mario Bros. Cupcakes

When my pal asked me to create Mairo Bros. themed cupcakes for her son's birthday, how could I say no! So I powered up, found an awesome vegan cupcake recipe, busted out the fondant and got to work.

My favourite feature of this, are the candle holders. Those cute little Bombs with the little white candles, I just can't resist them!

My Dad made me some super cool cake boards and stands, so I thought a cake stand in this case would look great, giving the cupcakes a bit of height and making them the centrepiece.

The finished masterpiece...Happy Birthday Jacob!
